Celebrating Mystery

One of my short responses when asked about Unitarian Universalism is to say that we celebrate the mystery and know we belong to the earth. We celebrate mystery, whether that is God, the Sacred, the infinite universe, the wonder of life, or something else; and in doing so, we embrace not knowing. Living with not knowing can be a strength when facing a future full of uncertainty.

Guest Speaker: Rev. Fiona Heath

Service Leader: Martha Nabatian

Rev. Fiona Heath spent nine years as the settled minister at the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga, and two years as the part time minister of the UU Congregation of Durham. Now slightly retired, she enjoys life in the countryside north of Kingston, focusing on fiction writing, local climate crisis response, and finding hope.
