What does it look like to accept and adapt to the changes that surround us, while simultaneously being responsible for the stability of those we love? Those of us who are parents are very familiar with weathering change while navigating the tightrope between creating a stable foundation for our children, and letting go of control. Grounding ourselves in our shared UU values to respect the inherent worth and dignity of every person calls us to nurture that agency and self-determination that allows those in our care to flourish, make choices and live with authenticity.
