But what unfolds when we detach Christ from our preconceived notions and approach his story anew? What happens when we examine the Gospels on their own, without the distorting lens of the Old Testament and mainstream Christianity, focusing instead on Christ’s teachings rather than his divine origins and miraculous deeds?
