Compassion in Dying

The scientist Isaac Asimov said, “Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It’s the transition that’s troublesome.” How we face our death can be painful, traumatic or even a liberating event. In this service, Dr. Purnima Sundar will share her experiences on her mother’s choice for medical assistance in dying, and her reflections on compassion and opening up one’s heart.
