From Canoe Lake to Bay Street

Dave Handelman will be sharing his story – from how he connected with nature as a child exploring Algonquin Park by canoe, through to how he pivoted his career from working in Credit cards to working on Climate Change strategies at TD Bank. Dave is an eternal optimist, and he’ll also share why he feels optimistic about the future.

Bio: David Handelman is the Senior Manager of Financed Emissions and Net Zero Transition Planning at TD Bank Group. He recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Master’s of Science in Carbon Management, which enabled him to pivot from his previous career in banking to a career focused on his passion, fighting climate change. David also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from McGill University.
