Patriarchy is the Opposite of Compassion

As we round the bend of the halfway point of our worship year with the theme “Cultivating Compassion”, a groundswell of intolerance and threat is swirling in the news as of late. The heart of this build-up can be seen through the lens of patriarchy. In this service, Laurie-Anne will discuss her journey of understanding patriarchy and offer some paths of reflection to frame this turmoil as well as some perspectives on how to better cultivate compassion.
